Our consultations typically last around one hour, during which we take preliminary measurements and provide a budget or cost range for your project. If the proposed budget aligns with your expectations, you can then reach out to us to move forward with a formal proposal.
The difference between a cost estimate and a proposal is that a cost estimate provides a general idea of expenses, while a proposal offers a precise budget based on specific materials, processes, and dimensions. Once all details are defined, the amount you are charged becomes a fixed cost rather than an estimate. Since preparing a proposal requires significant effort, particularly for larger or more complex projects, we charge a fee for this service. However, our commitment to thorough, fair, and transparent pricing ensures that your project is properly planned, minimizing surprises and saving both time and money in the long run.
For smaller projects, we charge a $150 fee to prepare drawings, renderings, and work orders. This includes a detailed scope of work, a proposed budget, and a formal contract. Additionally, we provide our certificate of insurance at this stage. For bathroom, kitchen, or larger-scale projects, we charge a flat rate design fee of $500.
We maintain open communication throughout the entire process. If it becomes clear that we won’t meet the agreed-upon completion date, we will proactively reach out to set a new timeline. Once we receive a signed contract and deposit, we will contact you to schedule the work. The deposit amount varies by project and will be clearly outlined in your contract.
